About the Event
A brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. These aneurysms can leak or rupture causing hemorrhagic stroke quickly becoming life-threatening and requires immediate medical treatment. The care after a ruptured aneurysm can be complex and requires ongoing management for the patient on the road to recovery. This course will provide insight into the ongoing best practices in care after a ruptured aneurysm. Primary care, nurses, neurosurgeons, neurologists, ER providers, physical therapists, physiatrists, patients, and patient families will find this program educational.
